WIP: Warhound Titan scratchbuild Part Six

Hi guys,

The beast is ready to be painted. I've decided to go with Legio Ignatum (Fire Wasps) for the paint scheme, a true Ad mech Legio in hopes to collaborating them with sweet Skitarii army one day.

Here are the images:

Sorry for a lot of noize, big black model, tried to bring more details.

Decaying Horrors of the Warp

Here's a shot of a squad of Nurgle Plaguebearers I painted as a basic tabletop commission.

They were quite fun to paint. The Daemons in general require a different approach than any other miniatures. I tried to go with a bit more nightmarish look for the Plaguebearers - they are quite nasty, sores, open wounds and bones sticking out everywhere!

WIP: Warhound Titan scratchbuild Part Five

Hi guys,

More progress on the Beast. Legs and torso almost finished, as well as cockpit. Torso and legs are magnetized, and I will magnetize cockpit too. Model is just too big to transport it as a whole.

Orkz ar' goin' to Waaagh! Pt.3

Good day, guyz!

So 'ere we are bringin' some Orkish Supa'eaviz.
This tank will be used both by Bad Moonz and Gretchin Military Forcez (The name is not final thow).
Small brief: Grot part of my greenskins army will not be a Rebel Grotz. They will be military organization which consists of grots, and they are working together with Bad Moonz, but they are a independent forces. (Treat it as end of Revolushun, and Grots finally got their right fo freedom, but thats another story, that will be told later ;) )

Meks were taking picz of their prodakshun steps, to provide Warboss Shinetuffa and Komissar Stool'O'Gryz with detailed report.

After basic layers were done with airbrush i've started to add highlight. I made them contrast on purpouse.

After Big Mek showed the process to fellow Chaos Lord, he pointed that rust is not contrast enough, so mek team started to experriment with rust of flat parts that won't be seen.

The same teknik was applied for the tank, but it was little bit more difficult to implement in a narrow space.

Meks kontinued with the back, front and top plates

It might take up to 5 evenings more to complete the tank, but Warboss and Komissar are satisfied with results by now.

See ya!

Valiant Men of Bretonnia

A late night's painting session has seen these guys to the end. A tabletop standard commission of Bretonnian Men-at-Arms. I am not the world's biggest fan of painting yellow, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Still not 100% satisfied with it, but that's probably due to lack of practice with it.

Bretons ready to fight for their daily turnip.

WIP: Warhound Titan scratchbuild Part Four

Hi guys,

Sorry for the blurry photo.

The Beast lower part is done, apart from adding small details. Still need to find the source of tons of aquilas to add to. If I fail, I guess I will need to use decals instead.

Main Hull Center is done, as well as one shoulder. Working on another shoulder.
I will add details then to cockpit and the only thing that I will need to take care of will be weapons, and painting this monster.

Also that the 50th post. :)

Guys, stop missing the updates!

Orkz ar' goin' to Waaagh! Pt.2

Good evening, guys!

Golden Urn tournament is closer and closer. It's really bad to try to catch two rabbits, so i've decided to throw all my painting time for orks in the April.

Bits of meks and lootaz. Still a lot of work for these guys.

No, more bla-bla-bla. Back to work!

See ya!
Waaagh!

Dāturazi Witch Soldiers WIP, nearing completion

Apologies for the late update, I haven't been feeling too well this week. However, my Dāturazi are nearly complete. Still to complete: hair, tattoos, bases. I might go over the metal parts of the loincloth as well, make them a warmer shade of grey or perhaps go for gold entirely.

I think I've put around 30-40 hours into these guys at this point, and it's starting to pay off.

WIP: Warhound Titan scratchbuild Part Three

Hi guys,

Making more progress on the Beast. One leg and pelvis is now 90% finished, still some imperial bling to add. Second leg is almost done, just lacking the rivets on one leg joint, because suddenly i've used all my rivets.

More to come in the next 10 days :)

Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor. Pt.3

Good evening, guys!

So, continuing with Corregidor. Was a bit distracted with other miniatures paintin', so not much done for these guys. But on the next iteration i'm planing to finish with this miniatures.

Good luck,
See ya!

Khaine's Wrath

Another busy week, this time preparing for a 40k tournament tomorrow. This time among other things, I brought up a squad of Wraithblades to a tabletop standard. Still got stuff to paint, so just one picture tonight.

Fun models and quick to make them look good, too!

WIP: Warhound Titan scratchbuild Part Two

Hi guys and gals,

As I've got all big parts glued together, I can now focus on detailing and assembling the Beast. I've started with the leg. Got plates and rivets glued on leg parts, partial assembly done. Assembled the foot. Lower joint with shin armour is put without glue, just to see how it works together. Middle and upper joints received their part of rivets. Details 80% done on the whole leg, pistons to add, and aquilas/skulls will be added later.

Will need some tidying up here and there, more details probably.

Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor. Pt.2

Hello, guys!

So, here go my first alguacil squad.
Here they are: concentrated and prepared for a fight :

Additionally, two views of recently painted guys.

Bases are still to be produced.
There are some issues, that probably could be fixed, but dispite that, they already look quide good.

Next i'll be painting a squad of wildcats.

See ya!
And don't let the deceitful ALEPH trick your mind!

More work on Morats

It's been a busy week and I haven't had much painting time. With Infinity models, it means that there will be very little comparative progress done - the details are much smaller, so I want to be that much more neater. Such an approach doesn't work well with entire squads, it seems.

Anyway, here's some more progress on my Dāturazi Witch Soldiers. To make up for a late update, I'll post more pictures than usual.

I am mostly done on skin and steely metallics - they still need a glaze or two, but for now they are quite reasonably done.

WIP: Warhound Titan scratchbuild Part One

Decided to do a little break with infinity and build my own warhound titan.
Currently all the big parts are made. I will soon follow it up with partial assembly and detail work.
Nothing fancy at the moment as you can see:

Materials used: cardstock, foamboard and plasticard.

Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor. Pt.1

Good evening, guys!

I've started to work on my Corregidor sectorial army.
Here go two alguaciles from old Nomad starter

Alguacil girl was painted long time ago, but to complete the set two more guys have to be painted.

The first one is almost done.

Unfourtunately i've lost one head(propably will find it at some point, or will take second head from nomad spec-ops blister). Until I find/purchase a head, one of the guys will wear ork mask :)

See Ya!
Have fun ;)

Rise of the Morat Supremacy

Been a busy week, so I have not been able to finish all that much. Most of my projects are in a WIP state, so I will give a brief look at my Infinity army progress so far.

A work-in-progress shot of my Dāturazi Witch soldiers with an Oznat that fills the role of the fifth Dāturazi in the link team. Mostly basecoats, only have begun working on their skin.

Caledonian volunteers pt.1

Got a bit lazy lately, so, not much work done. But, considering the rumors about the Infinity tournament, held in March, need to keep up the pace.
So, here is a fire team of 3 Volunteers, base colors applied.

Table cleaning. Pt.1

Good evening, guys!

During a bit of time in hobby there have been stocking boxes of random miniatures. So I decided to clean up the mess and actually paint all oth them. Probably, they will be selled after being painted or may be not - will see. But in either case I get good practice and fun, dmt those spees elvez xD

The skyboards were painted today 0_o. Omg if only orks were so easy to paint... But i came up with a nice yellow (for all these years, at last xD), that i'll be using for my Corregidor Sectorial Army and Bad Moonz

Some days before. Striking scorpions. Cool models, but DAT failcast...

And finally ork. Almost done. But i'll stop with stormboyz for now. My prime targets for orks are bikerz and nice cute Stoma.

For the next iterations i'll paint Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor, probably some w40k guys will appear. But infinity tournament announcement slightly changed my painting priorities.

See Ya!
For the Horde! Waaaaaagh! ;)
