More work on Morats

It's been a busy week and I haven't had much painting time. With Infinity models, it means that there will be very little comparative progress done - the details are much smaller, so I want to be that much more neater. Such an approach doesn't work well with entire squads, it seems.

Anyway, here's some more progress on my Dāturazi Witch Soldiers. To make up for a late update, I'll post more pictures than usual.

I am mostly done on skin and steely metallics - they still need a glaze or two, but for now they are quite reasonably done.

The Oznat model is a bit more capricious- there are so much more details to paint, the preta head helmet and sword, all the small trinkets and the necklace.

The Dāturazi are comparatively more simple, but even they have their braided hair yet to complete. And I haven't really touched up on their armour or weapons.

Sadly these shots turned out to be darker than the previous, but they still give an idea of what is done and what still needs work. In some photos further there can be seen some glossy spots between the skin - the aftermath of a GW wash being unpredictable in how it dries. For these models, GW washes need to be severely diluted. Right now I'll just have to make do with some shading glazes.

I am hoping to finish these guys until next week, but reality always has a plan of its own. I entertained an idea of ritual tattoos on their skin, but it seems this idea will only be implemented if I am not sick to death of painting them by the end!
